Vooz / Vooz Live

Vooz live · live video chat

Watch someone live. Talk when you’re ready.

Vooz Live is live video chat with a softer start. Scroll through people who are already streaming, say hi in the room chat, and turn it into a private call when the two of you click.

Chapter 01

Look around before you say a word

the gentle way into video

Random matching is quick, but it can feel abrupt: one tap and a stranger is looking straight at you. Vooz Live is the slower door. Head to the Live tab of the online list and you will find people who already have their camera running and are happy to be watched while they talk, sing, cook or just hang out.

Nobody sees your face while you watch. You can sit in a stream for a while, get a feel for the person and the mood in the room, and only type when you have something to say. For plenty of new members, a few minutes on Vooz Live turns their first video call into a small step rather than a jump.

Chapter 02

A thumb away from the next stream

scrolling that actually lands on people

Inside a room, swipe up for the next stream and down to go back. It works the way a short-video feed does, except everyone on the other side is live and can read your message the moment you send it. If a room is quiet or not your thing, keep swiping until one catches you.

Plenty of streams let anyone in. A few set a condition first: a ticket paid in coins, a follow, or being a paying member. That condition is displayed up front, so a locked door never leaves you guessing.

  • Open rooms: walk straight in and join the chat
  • Follow-only rooms: tap follow once and the room opens
  • Ticketed or members-only rooms: the entry cost is shown before you commit

Chapter 03

Say hi to the whole room

typed chat, translated when you need it

Every live room on Vooz has a text chat running alongside the video. That is where you say hello, ask a question, or join a running joke with everyone else who is watching. The person streaming reads it and often answers out loud, which is a fun way to start a conversation without being on camera yourself.

The room chat has the same translate button as regular Vooz chats. Someone streaming from Bogotá can write in Spanish while you read it in English, and your reply can go back the other way. People who want to practise a language with real people often use live rooms for exactly this, since there is less pressure than in a one-to-one match.

Chapter 04

Small gestures that get noticed

gifts and the spinning wheel

If you enjoy a stream, you can send a gift. Most gifts cost coins, and now and then a room offers a free one to hand out. Every paid gift asks you to confirm before it goes, so a mis-tap does not empty your balance. Some rooms also run a wheel you can spin, which adds a bit of game-show energy to the evening.

None of this is required. Watching and chatting are free, and plenty of people spend their whole visit in the chat without sending anything. How the balance works, and how the Reward Center tops it up, is laid out in the Vooz coins guide.

Chapter 05

From a busy room to a quiet call

a private call without leaving the room

When you would like more than a message in a busy chat, tap the call button in the room and send that person a request for a private video call. It uses coins, and if your balance is short Vooz asks you to top up before anything starts. The call itself works like any other Vooz video call: just two cameras, nobody else watching.

Rules still apply in a live room. Every room carries a report button, and anything that breaks the community guidelines is quick to flag. Keep the same habits you would in a match: no personal addresses, no payment requests outside Vooz, and walk away from anyone who pushes.

Good to knowLive streams sit next to random matching rather than replacing it. You can hop between the Live tab and the start button whenever you like.
