How does a Vooz video call begin?
Open Vooz, pick video, say yes when the browser asks about camera and mic, then hit start. Someone new appears within moments, and the next button swaps them out the second you want.
Is there a Vooz app to download?
Nothing to download. Vooz loads straight from the web on your phone or laptop, and Add to Home Screen leaves a Vooz icon beside your other apps that opens full screen. We have never released an apk.
Does Vooz have group rooms or games?
No. Vooz is built around one-to-one conversations plus live streams you can watch. There are no group chat rooms, mini-games or watch parties.
Can I chat on Vooz with someone who does not speak English?
Yes. Tap translate under any typed message, in a call or a live room, and it appears in your own language, so a match from Brazil or Vietnam can still be a proper conversation.
Is Vooz safe for talking to strangers?
Vooz is 18+, lets you report someone mid-call or mid-stream, and removes people who break the rules. Hold back your surname, home address and card details, and treat any request for cash from a match as a red flag.
What is a random video chat?
A random video chat pairs you, camera to camera, with a stranger picked by the matching system rather than by you. On Vooz it is always one other person, and the next button moves you on whenever the conversation stalls.
Is a random text chat better than video for a first conversation?
