Is Vooz safe?
Vooz is safer than an unmoderated chat: it is adults only, reporting takes one tap from any call or stream, and rule breakers lose their accounts. No stranger chat is risk free, so keep personal details private.
Vooz / Is Vooz Safe
Is Vooz safe · the honest answer
Vooz is an 18+ chat where any call or stream can be flagged in one tap, and moderators act on those flags. Here is what we handle, what stays in your hands, and what Vooz keeps on record.

Chapter 01
safer than most corners of the internet, not risk free
Any service that connects you with strangers carries some risk, and Vooz is no exception. What we can do is set clear rules, give you quick ways to leave or flag a conversation, and act on reports. What you can do is decide how much of yourself to show and keep a few details to yourself. Put together, that makes a Vooz chat a comfortable place for most people on most nights.
Vooz is for adults only. The community rules are written out in full in the Vooz community guidelines, and breaking them gets accounts warned, restricted or removed.
Chapter 02
the tools and the people behind them
Safety on Vooz rests on a handful of plain mechanics rather than promises.
Chapter 03
small habits, big difference
Most trouble on random chat starts with information handed over too early. Go by a nickname you have never used on any other site. Keep your surname, home address, school, workplace and social media handles out of the conversation, at least until you have got to know someone properly. Nobody on a first match needs them.
Your camera is your call. A text-only Vooz chat never switches it on, and voice mode keeps your face out of it entirely. If you do go on video, glance at what the lens can see behind you: an envelope with your address, a street sign outside, a lanyard with your employer’s logo.
The one rule about moneyNever send money, gift cards or payment details to someone you met on Vooz, however convincing the story. A sad story from a stranger paired with a payment request is the oldest trick online.
Chapter 04
what Vooz keeps and why
We will not pretend Vooz forgets everything. Accounts, profiles, follows and messages exist so the product can work, and records of calls, purchases and reports are kept for a period so we can handle disputes and keep banned users out. Treat a Vooz chat as private between you and your match, not as something that evaporates afterwards.
The full breakdown of what is stored, for how long and how to request deletion lives in the Vooz privacy policy.
Chapter 05
three taps, in this order
Report first, while the conversation is still on screen, so the moment is attached to the report. Then tap next or leave. If someone has threatened you or you think a person is in danger, contact local emergency services as well; online moderation is not a substitute for that. The practical walkthrough of reporting, blocking and appeals is on our Vooz safety page.
Chapter 06
coins only move when you say so
Safety is not only about people. Vooz is free to start, and coins are the only thing you ever pay for, bought through a top-up screen you open yourself. A private call with too small a balance stops at that screen instead of starting, and sending a gift asks you to confirm before anything leaves your account.
Anything promising free or hacked coins, whether a website, a file or a stranger in a chat, is a trick to get your login or your card. Coins only ever come from the official top-up screen or from the Reward Center built into Vooz itself.

Vooz is designed for adults and enforces an 18+ rule. Reports are reviewed by moderators, and you can leave any chat instantly with next.
Hit the flag icon on the call or stream while the person is still on screen. Then tap next to move on.
Your match card shows your country, not your city or address. Anything more specific is only visible if you say it or show it on camera.
You use a nickname and choose what to share, but Vooz still keeps account and safety records. Think of it as private, not invisible.
Yes. Text mode keeps your camera off, and voice mode uses only your microphone. Video only starts when you choose it.
No. Vooz is free to start and only charges coins you choose to buy. Be wary of other users who ask for money, and never send it.
Calls are not something we record as routine. When a call is reported, material connected to that report may be reviewed to decide whether rules were broken.
Depending on what happened, moderators can warn, restrict or remove the account. Serious cases lead to a permanent ban.
Yes. Vooz runs in your phone browser and only asks for camera and microphone access. We do not ask you to install any file.
